HARMONY LANE

(FEATURE)

A barren couple looking for a fresh start fall prey to paranoia and violence when they discover their experimental housing development comes with an unexpected amenity – sounds that bleed through from the future.

Harmony Lane is a contained, sound-driven thriller set inside a Midwest suburban development where eerie echoes of future sins and the drive to prevent them become the engine of the suspense.

The story follows Matt and Lydia, a couple hoping for a fresh start in a luxury development, along with Matt’s brother Kyle, whose discovery of a strange auditory phenomenon pulls the family into a dangerous pattern of prediction, denial, and moral compromise. Next door, Anita, a grieving widow and the architect of the development, has been documenting the phenomenon and is eager for her new lab rats to join the experiment. As the sounds begin pointing toward events before they happen, the family’s private resentments, hostility from the community, and fear of exposure collide.

What starts as an unsettling mystery becomes something more intimate and more brutal. This is not built around a clean puzzle box reveal. It’s a thriller about people hearing what is coming and still making the worst possible choices. The tension builds toward a shooting, a death inside the family, and a double cover up that leaves the central question less about how the phenomenon works and more about what people will do when the truth threatens the life they’re trying to protect.
